Accessibility statement

1. Our commitment

We want everyone to be able to use our rental and sales offering, whatever their sight, motor skills or assistive technology. We therefore review this website continuously for barriers and fix what gets in the way.

2. Conformance status

We aim for conformance with the EN 301 549 standard and with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. Based on our own assessment, this website is partially conformant: most requirements are met, while the points listed under “Known limitations” are not yet fully addressed.

3. Assistive features on this site

The “Accessibility” button at the top right opens a panel with the following settings:

• increase font size, line spacing and word spacing step by step
• high contrast, adjusted saturation and a blue-light filter
• dyslexia-friendly typeface and an enlarged cursor
• permanently underlined links and paused animations
• a reading guide and a read-aloud function
• every setting is stored on your device and still applies on your next visit

Independently of that, the site is fully operable by keyboard, uses a consistent heading structure, declares the page language and can be zoomed to 200 per cent without loss of content. All content is available in six languages.

4. Known limitations

We are aware of these points and have not resolved them yet:

• The catalogue PDF comes from the print artwork and is not prepared for accessibility. We are happy to give you any of its details by phone or e-mail.
• The alternative text on machine images gives the name of the machine but does not describe it.
• Extensive tables of technical specifications can only be read by scrolling sideways on small screens.
• The read-aloud function relies on your browser's speech synthesis; the availability and quality of voices differ from device to device.

5. How this statement was prepared

This statement is based on a self-assessment of the website carried out by Deltalux Digital Solutions. No review by an independent body has taken place so far. This statement is current as of August 11, 2026.

6. Reporting a barrier

If you hit an obstacle or need information in another form, tell us: info@mako.lu or +352 51 93 95. It helps if you name the page concerned, the device you used and, if any, your assistive technology. We reply within ten working days and, where a fix takes longer, tell you the timeframe.
